- Calculating and developing monthly technical reserves for internal and regulatory reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Preparing for the actuarial role in implementing IFRS 17.
- Developing actuarial data analytics to enhance portfolio analysis.
- Preparing actuarial data assumption changes and updates.
- Generating monthly Product Performance Evaluation Report and Risk Profiling Report.
- Performing other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the company.
- Perform validation of production data for monthly premium reserve calculations.
- Validate claims data for quarterly IBNR claim reserve calculations.
- Submit validated production and claims data to actuarial consultants for reserve calculations.
- Discuss reserve calculations for production and claims with the finance director and obtain confirmation before forwarding the calculations to the IT team.
- Send confirmed production and claims reserve calculations approved by the finance director to the IT team for uploading to the Care system.
- Compile reports for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual periods (premium and claims reports per branch, formatted as per OJK requirements).
- Submit premium and claims data for cities and districts to OJK and AAUI on a quarterly basis.
- Analyze the company’s projection for the next five years, documented in the company’s actuarial report.
- Conduct analysis for the company’s business plan for the next three years.
- Perform analysis on lapse studies, new business assumptions, and financial indicators included in the business realization data.
- Coordinate with the compliance team/corporate secretary regarding requests for approval from the board of commissioners and president director and ensure the business plan report is submitted to OJK.
Requirements:
- Freshgraduate are welcome to apply.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an actuarial role.
- Preferred completion of some actuarial exams.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Meticulousness in the production, validation, presentation, and communication of results.
- Respectfulness of deadlines, discipline, and process, yet flexibility and pragmatism within a growing business.
- Capability of working autonomously or with a team and balancing own initiative with advice from others.
- Ability to navigate through complex problems and organizations to achieve results and deliver solutions.
- Capability to communicate complex issues to non-experts.
